There are times when bad things come at the same time. Cassandra was fired from her job and received a breakup notice from her boyfriend. Everything happened in the morning. She didn’t express any emotions at work or to her boyfriend, Will(I actually don’t know yet because chapter 1 and 2 didn’t mention what she did to Will)
Then, at a nearby cafe with memories, like banana muffins, a place close to work and filled with memories with her boyfriend, she finally shed tears and let out her emotions. She warned me at the beginning of the book, saying that the book doesn't tell me about life... That's right. Life is different. Will reading a book really help my life? But surprisingly, what happened to her is happening to me now.
I don't want to empathize with her, but I'm curious about what choices she'll make in this same situation. However, once again, as she said earlier, this book will ultimately tell lies to me because I know my life won't unfold like this book.
