I didn't realize that pen-palling (though nowadays it’s more about exchanging emails, this is how these two refer to it) could be so enjoyable. Perhaps during the pandemic, some people exchanged love through emails like this. Sadly, except for me. The two of them share stories about their personal lives more honestly. Writing emails with additional explanations in parentheses to avoid misunderstandings seemed cute. However, the volume is indeed quite a lot for me to read. Their careful way of expressing affection includes inserting about one heart-fluttering line. Besides their heart-fluttering points, the expression "It's water under the bridge" deeply resonated with me. It’s something I want to hear from someone right now, and seeing it in a book also feels nice. I want to say this to myself: "The hardships of the past are water under the bridge now. Everything will be fine!"
