Verity 103-107
I didn't know how toxic a woman's jealousy is. Maybe I knew. Verity's obsession with her husband is truly devastating. She didn't enjoy the fact that she became a mom. She felt that Jeremey's all the attention is towards their daughters, not her anymore. I think this thing is common and natural, but could be hurtful, especially when someone is not ready to share the love with someone else. She was. She was not ready, but in this case, it was worst ever. She kept trying to kill her babies. She intended to miscarry several times to win Jeremey's love back. Her priority was "her", not "her baby" or "her husband". I think I can get this point of conclusion of this book... did she kill her children intentionally..?
