Terms of Service

By using the Goalie mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Use of the App

You may use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not use the App in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the App or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the App; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.

2. User Accounts

In order to access certain features of the App, you may be required to create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3. Participation Fees

When you join a Goalie on the App, a participation fee applies. By participating in goalies, you agree to pay any applicable participation fees as disclosed in the App. This participation fee is our platform usage fee, and is not returned when the user survives a Goalie and splits the pot with other challengers.

4. Content

4.1 User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post or upload on the App. This includes check-in photos, comments, and any other content you contribute.

4.2 Prohibited Content: You agree not to post or upload any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable. This includes content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others, promotes illegal activities, or contains hate speech or discrimination.

4.3 Disqualification from Goalies: We reserve the right to disqualify you from a Goalie if the content you post is deemed prohibited, as defined above. We also reserve the right to disqualify you if a check-in does not meet the requirements of the Goalie or are flagged by either our system or other users as cheating. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, reusing previously uploaded photos, invalid timestamps.

4.4 User Accountability: By using the App, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the consequences of your actions and the content you post. We encourage you to act responsibly and respectfully towards others when interacting with the App and its community.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms of Service or if we believe that your conduct on the platform is harmful to other users or the integrity of the App.

6. Account Deletion

To permanently delete your account and all associated data, please send your request to team@goaliemvmt.com.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Goalie and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Goalie, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; (iii) any content obtained from the App; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
