Chapter 5
This chapter is talking about the 'suffering' by using the example of the 'war'. (I think this book was written when the World War 2 was going on.) The junior devil was delightful because he thought the more was becomes severe the more people will give up their faith. However, the senior was pointing out the naivety of the junior. He said that when the humans fight for their countries as a patriot, it seems like they put their country above God, but the Enemy(God) will understand the humans. (I think this is the point of view of the author own) The most interesting part was that the senior said that the most difficult kind of people when they want to try to make them give up their faith is the persons who are fighting on the war field. They won't be tempted easily since they are nervous all the time before their upcoming death. So they will hold on their faith stronger than anytime.

Chapter4
I want to share some parts from this chapter;
The simplest is to turn their gaze away from Him towards themselves. Keep them watching their own minds and trying to produce feelings there by the action of their own wills.

When I pray, I also got confused. I keep talking about my desire and my dreams but is there any points for that...? After reading this part, I reflected my previous prayers. Did I only feel my own satisfaction of my prayers and get fulfilled instead of pursuing more than that?

Chapter3
Wow... I love this book. I couldn't close my mouth when I read each paragraph. Now I really get the reason why my pastor really likes C.S.Lewis 😂😂 This chapter is about the relationship. The devil told that making a little crack in any relationship starts from the person itself who cannot see its own sins. Then everything will be very easy to make the relationship even worst because they will think that they have particular dislikes of each other but they can't see that each person also has annoying tone of voice and behaviours. (It's very true... from my experience haha)
I couldn't keep reading because I really got impressed by the author's insight. I shared my thoughts with my husband after each paragraph so took so long to finish this chapter lol
